Ridgeback Speed 2013 Hybrid Bike

Reliability is essential when a bike is used for daily transport. A full Shimano drivetrain ensures accurate and consistent shifting over time whilst Continental puncture resistant tyres make a significant contribution to many puncture free miles. Mudguard and rack fittings are standard on all Rapide models. With wide ratio gearing, ergonomic triple density grips and a comfortable saddle, a Ridgeback Rapide is commute ready as well as being a practical and fun way to get around town.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight
I was looking for an affordable Hybrid bike and, after checking out the many options, decided on the Ridgeback Speed 2013. Right from the start I found the bike a comfortable and fast ride but also reliable and strong. Good tyres that will not easily puncture. For anyone seeking a bike suitable for town commuting/country towpath riding I would throughly recommend the Ridgeback.

Good commuter

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight
Cons: gear jumps
I have a journey of 6 miles on a mix of cycle paths andcanal towpath and with this bike it just flys by. No major problems though I do have occasional jumps in gearing were the change is not very smooth or it jumps tow rings at a go, has been back to Evans but told this is typical of cheaper gear sets?
Love having mud guards and panniers included and a lot lighter than my old Raleigh MTB which was to heavy and slow to do a trip that is now routine.
All in al love the bike and look foward to my commute ride
