Good training bike.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight
I have just got this bike so it is early days but so far delighted with it's performance. Due to an issue with the wrong chain being fitted, I could only run the single speed at first but was very impressed with the performance. Chain was replaced by Evans when I took it into the store at Braehead and was switched to the fixed wheel (why I wanted it). Takes a bit of getting used to but the bike feels good and is very responsive. I like the TT handlebars as I was a bit worried at first but they aren't as long as they look in the picture.
Overall, I am delighted with the bike and look forward to my winter commutes with less things that can go wrong (hopefully!).

Nice bike, terrible tyres

PostedOctober 18, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: poor tyres
Nice bike, light enough drive train feels responsive and robust. Bull style bars are easy to use and brakes seem to hold up well in the wet.
Wheels feel a bit cheap and the handle bar tape feels like it has practically no cushioning.
Big minus is the tyres. I've only done 50 miles and already had a puncture in each wheel, it could be chance but I doubt it.
I'd recommend the bike but add £50 to the price tag and get some other tyres off the bat.
