Excellent entry level bike

PostedMay 21, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Looks great
My first road bike for 30 years! After getting used to the riding position and saddle being quite different to my beloved mtb I am enjoying the Allez experience. At this price components are not going to be first class, but everything works well together. Gear changing is quick and precise and the fork absorbs the worst of the road buzz. Looking forward to a summer of getting fit on this to improve my mountain biking.

This bike has very smooth ride comfortable for long rides. Handle bars are slightly thiner than older models but still reasonably comfortable. If you want a bike which is well equiped and decent price get this

A good enough commuter bike

PostedApril 9, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Comfortable
Cons: Heavy
I use this as a commuter and winter trainer; it's definitely fit for purpose. The Tiagra group set is more than good enough for my commuting needs - have done about 750 miles on it, without too many issues. Good frame and handling. Bought in the recent Specialized sale.

Excellent Bike

PostedMarch 6, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Lightweight, Looks great, fun
This is my first road bike, and I love it. Compared to my hybrid, this is so much fun to ride. The saddle is a little uncomfortable but you get used to it very quickly, and a little pain is worth it for the fun riding this.
It is extremely light, which may be a problem when windy, and very quick. The Shimano Tiagra components are also excellent for the price.
I fully recommend this to anyone looking for a more fun journey into work
