I have owned one of these saddle bags now for about 2 and a half years. I now own a Specialized bag, purely because they look a bit more modern and actually provide me with more space for the type of things I carry. That said though, here are my pro's and con's for this saddle bag:
Pro's
:: Durable. I've put this bag through it's paces, tours, mountain biking, all weather riding, commuting and weekend rides. After I wash it, the bag looks as new again.
:: Easy to fit and remove.
:: Keeps out of the way from pedalling. It is also pretty stable so it doesn't bounce around when cycling around.
:: This is certainly a well made item. I also like the reflective strip that comes on it - very little helps! It also has a strap for fitting rear lights to it.
Con's
:: I think this bag looks a little dated in it's design.
:: The bag has a rigid shape which means it can't mould to the shape of your items. As a result I couldn't put my Topeak mini pump in this bag, whereas I can now in my smaller Specialized bag.
:: Weight. Compared with my Specialized saddle bag, this one feels heavier. I think that's due to the fact that it has more rigid material, plastic clips and a key clip inside. It's not a big deal but I'd thought I'd point it out to the more weight-aware people!
Overall, this is a reliable saddle bag. You'll be able to fit enough required items into this bag without any real problems.
