Customer reviews for Cycleops Mag Trainer

Cycleops Mag Trainer

The trainer has lots of accessores that are compatible with the trainer to help you along the way, for example; Trainer mat, sweat nets riser blocks and more. Overall this is an ideal trainer for someone that is either just starting out on turbo trainers or if you are just a winter turbo trainer user.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Looks great, quiet
does exactly what it says on the tin, nice neat features, and its relatively quiet. The change in resistance works nicely

Easy to set up and use. Feels good

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value
This is my first turbo-trainer, and bought at a very good sale price. I also bought the add-on resistance controller - combined price better than the 'Mag+' option which packages the two items! It was easy to set up straight from the box and I was riding within half an hour of opening the box. The remote resistance controller was a bit trickier; not sure I've got that set up properly yet as it doesn't seem to make much difference to the feel of the ride. I'm looking forward to getting some training time in on wet dark evenings.

Great for the price.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality
Cons: lack of remote adjustment
A really sturdy frame that appears to be well capable of takng my ample frame, ( I'm squarely in the Clydesdale class.) roller is smooth and quiet enough to be able to hear music or the tv with out having to turn up the volume to excessive levels, to take your mind off the fact you're not actually going anywhere. The system for securing your bike into the trainer is easy to use and feels very secure although I did skin my knuckles the first time I used it. Roller is easy to adjust to different wheel/tyre sizes and allows a decent contact with the tyre. The only real downside is the lack of remote resistance adjustment but that doesn't prove to be much of an issue. All in all a great turbo trainer at a good price backed with a lifetime warranty, what more could you want?
