FWE Handlebar Bag

The Handlebar Bag has an easily accessible front pocket that is ideal for keeping items and cycling accessories that you will need in a hurry. The handlebar bag has a zip pocket located at the front, perfect for keeping wallets, keys and phones where you can quickly and easily find them. The large centre compartment is great for carrying large items with ease. FWE have also included a brightly coloured rain cover than tucks away, when not in use, in a zipped compartment at the back. The 3M Scotchlite reflective strips help you and your bike to be move visible on the roads. If you after an extremely high quality and great value handlebar bag, with many strings to its bow, make sure it's an FWE Handlebar Bag.

Great for touring

PostedSeptember 5, 2014
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, good size
Cons: fixings poor
I bought this to replace a topeak handlebar bag which was a bit too small.
This one is about right, it fits between the handlebars with room to spare each side. It attaches and detaches really easily, it is large enough to carry things like passports (zip pockets), money, mobile phone, tools, snacks, and the like. To give you an idea of size you can fit two water bottles in it, one on top of the other laying on their sides.
It has a plastic window on top which is great for viewing your smart phone.
One reservation is the cheap looking plastic fixings to the handlebars, but they have proved durable enough for touring with no problems so far.

Great for carrying a camera

PostedAugust 26, 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Lightweight, effective bracket
Cons: reflections make 'phone difficult to read
I needed a bag for carrying my camera plus a snack and this has proved ideal. You need space in front of the bars where the cables sometimes run but otherwise it fitted fine and the bracket holds the bag reasonably firmly in position. It is also relatively easy to unclip to remove and take with you if you stop at a cafe etc.
Interestingly, I found that it is possible to insert my iPhone into the window on top of the bag and still work the touch sensitive screen. However, the reflections and angle that the iPone is likely to be at make the screen difficult to read.

Handy lightweight barbag.

PostedAugust 5, 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
Very useful for day trips when used in conjunction with a saddle bag/pack,this handle bar bag is useful for storing various items without overloading the front fork due to it's light weight and compact size.
- You won't be tempted to overload it because of it's modest dimensions and thus interference in front wheel handling is minimal.
It has the option of small and large diameter mounts to suit your bar size,is quick release, and has a separate carrying strap.
There is a clear panel in the top flap for your phone or GPS,a zipped front pocket, and a fold away hi-viz waterproof rain cover.
It's only drawback is the price,at £35,a bit high for a small bag.

Just what was needed...

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Looks great
Not a bag for those wanting aero-dyamics, (my husband being one of them), but very practical, neat and spacious. There is a clear window which you can use for maps, but i have found my Sony Xperia phone fits in there snuggly and so I can follow Endomondo routes with ease.

Excellent for the price...

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
My wife bought me this yesterday as I was looking for a small handlebar bag to really just carry a compact system camera specifically.
I fitted the bag onto my bike last night, which took a matter of minutes to fit the clamps on the handlebars, do up four screws and simply connect the bag to the fittings. I've used the bike with the bag attached this morning, and so far my camera hasn't been destroyed at all (always a good thing!),and the bag itself is still in one piece.
I added some extra padding on the base of the bag, purely because I knew I planned to carry a camera, and the bag itself isn't over padded, but for normal day to day use, I doubt you would need anything extra inside.
The bag also comes with a waterproof cover, and a shoulder strap for when you want to leave your bike somewhere and carry the bag with you.
