You'll not get a better bike for the money.

Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Looks great
First impression is its look fantastic. It feels like a more expensive bike but the ride and frame quality are great. Yes the components are not going to be the best at £500 ut they work well and give good feedback up breaking and while riding. I recomend this to everyone.

Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Looks great
Cons: brake blocks
I am a seasoned cyclist originally MBK and more recently road bikes....my much loved Raleigh U6 Comp was stolen last year and this new bike had a lot to live up to.......it's a pretty bike....nice neat welds and feels very well put together. It is nicely geared and turns a good pace....it's a little heavier than the Raliegh with the chunky steel forks but in all honesty for us commuters and hobbiests you would not know the difference. It's a smooth ride and the STI shifters work nicely.
If there are any negatives it's the 'specced' brake blocks are not the best....but really you can upgrade these no bother.......and the only other minor niggle is the drop bars do feel a bit more of a stretch when on the lower bars.....but it's just minor detail...they are still comfy.
In summary I am bonding well with this bike - it's a fabulous price and a real credit to the Claud Butler brand. I would recommend completely......
