What I expected & a bit more

Posted21 August 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
I'm a roadie who hates road cleat/pedals, was looking for a good pair of SPD compatible shoes suitable for warm weather use in Spain.
These done the biz with the added bonus they are a great fit.

Worst shoes I've ever owned

Posted05 August 2013
No, I do not recommend this product.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Uncomfortable, fall apart, poor ventilation for warm weather, no drainage for water : they fill up !
I started MTB way back in 1986.
I bought the 2012 version of these shoes which look pretty much the same.
Uncomfortable from the outset, the tongues are made from a really stuff material which took ages to mold to my foot.
Now they are sort of broken in, I take them for a 4 hour ride through Exmoor (it was wet).
The material under the insole is falling apart, it's like cardboard.
Pros> Stiff sole, light, good buckle
Cons> Fall apart. Swetty betty : not enough ventilation. Toe box too roomy for me. Velcro looks cheap. Tight soles around cleats. And they are SO UNCOMFORTABLE IT IS UNREAL.
