Great value at this price

PostedMarch 3, 2014
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality
I bought two of these, one for myself and 1 for my wife as the main front lights on bikes used for daily commuting to and from work on roads an unlit cycle paths. We are both really pleased with the light they project, and think they were outstanding value for money..

It's bright

PostedFebruary 25, 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Lightweight
This 150 lumens light has an exellent range and is bright enough for poorly-lit stretches and to be seen in traffic.
I was primarily looking for a light that had a fairly wide arc of light, to enable to be seen as well as see, and this does that nicely.
The side gills are a bit pointless, with the light from them a faint flickering red mixed with spill from the main white light. This isn't really a distraction as you can't see it yourself when cycling, but it can't be switched off.
There is a high beam and a lower one, though it's hard to tell the difference between them. There is also a flashing mode or, to be more accurate, a blinding strobe light. I certainly wouldn't want to be cycling towards anyone using this setting.
It's got a good battery life, and I really like that the whole bracket is removable rather than leaving the mount permanently attached to the bike.
