Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value
The trainer took a little bit of messing around to get the head unit to sync with the trainer itself (I think my smart phone was interfering with the syncing process - per the instructions! - should have read them properly) The cadence readings are a bit erratic, but it does say this in the manual (Although it says you can purchase an additional piece of hardware to resolve this). Some of the data on the head unit is a bit small to read eg training zones. The training program is good, you can get a good work out on several of the pre-programed work outs. Overall it does what it says, just read the instructions several times and have them to hand until you get use to using the machine.

quality product

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Looks great
as other reviews I have seen, my only gripe is what I would consider a cheap wireless unit considering the extra cost against the non wireless option. Im sure with a bit of thought and effort they could put together a LCD screen that is easier to read and software that is easier to use. I use mine with my Garmin but will persevere and give the wireless unit a try.

Great trainer but some minor limitations

PostedFebruary 7, 2014
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Comfortable
Doddle to set up, works well, already clocked 500km no problems. The display is small but the ability to select programs, levels and display hrm data etc is great and works well. The downside is that unless you have iphone and install the app you can't extract the data (the ant+ appears to be encoded and can't be read by other android apps - unless someone has found one that works?). Hopefully an android app is in the works.

Good overall

PostedOctober 4, 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value
Easy to setup and use, provides decent realistic resistance and there's no undue wear on the tyre.
The only negatives are that is doesn't "communicate" with Trainerroad and so you have to use an ANT+ speed / cadence sensor. The head unit is informative but requires better software, but you can use an IOS app.
Overall a good product I enjoy using.

Good features, well made

PostedJune 28, 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality
The elite Qubo wireless is an excellent turbo trainer with a decent set of features. The wireless controller mounts easily on the bars and controls the resistance as well as displaying cadence, heart rate, speed, distance, time. The unit is Ant+ so you can use a standard heart rate sensor to add that feature, I used a wahoo unit with adapter for the iPhone.
You can download an iphone app and control all the features from that as well as displaying the information which is nice although I would recommend a bar mounting kit for the phone.
When mounting the bike on the turbo trainer I found it was necessary to use the supplied skewer to replace the standard unit that came with my fulcrum wheels but the bike did fit easily once I figured out the clamp mechanism.
The only downside to the turbo is that the controller is not obvious to operate so it takes time to figure out how to set the mode and change the settings.
