Genesis CdF 2013 Cyclocross Bike

Genesis is very much a rider's brand. Everyone who is involved with this brand rides bikes and they're an important part of their lifestyles. For Genesis people, cycling is about freedom and escape, it's about slowing down and noticing the world that's going on around you, and it's also about good times with friends and happy memories.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Looks great
My first test ride on this bike left me grinning like a cheshire cat !
Capable on road/off road and seems to eat up the miles,
Just what I wanted.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Looks great
500 miles after delivery and the bike is feeling good.
It's reasonably lightweight and the tires offer little resistance for road riding.
Haven't tried it off road yet.
Only downside is the seat.... Not very comfortable. I've given it time, but think I will swap it.
Also gearing is a bit limited on the hills

Nice bike but not for serious climbs
Posted 21 October 2013
I purchased the bike in April and overall I am very happy with it. I have found it really nice to ride. I recently did a long organised hilly cycle run and I really struggled on some serious hills due to the lack of the range of the gears. Following the run I have ordered a new cassette with a better range of gears. Also purchased a new seat as I found the original one uncomfortable on longer rides. So overall I think it's a really nice bike but climbing hills is certainly not its strength.
