Tool box in the palm

PostedMarch 22, 2014
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
Cons: Expensive
This is an excellent small pack of tools. Looking through the set, seems that there is kit to be able to do most emergency jobs. There may not be all that you could list, but that would bring the weight and size up. This is so small, in its nice jacket. The body, would appear to be a forged aluminium. The 15mm spanner was used to fit my new SKS pedals. my normal kit spanner was too thick.

A Multi-Tool that has it all (well almost!)

PostedFebruary 3, 2014
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Comfortable, all the essential tools
Cons: Expensive
With most multi-tools there is always an essential tool missing but with this one it's just the 'nice to have' ones (fine flat and cross-head screwdriver and pliers) but then it wouldn't be so compact and good to grip. The one great essential it does have is the 15mm wrench (no more weighing down my ultra-light touring kit with a hefty one of these!) that can tackle both pedal bolts and axle nuts, although with some you might have to ease them off first with a long handled spanner/O-wrench before first use - the tool really does tighten them up sufficiently for safe road use. It is well made with a strong coated steel casing (rather than the usual aluminium and thin steel found on many multi-tools) and quality bits. The tyre patches are a nice useful touch, although I'm none too sure I'd use the metal tyre lever on my expensive Dahon lightweight rims. If you have to pack down for fitting into a travel case (or fix on a ride) a Tern or Dahon folder this is the one and only tool you will need for just about every job.
