A great light with inbuilt rubber mounting

PostedNovember 18, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, high quality, bright
Cons: mounting system, only usb charging
The Knog blinder is a good rear light with the 44 lumens offered by the four leds providing excellent visibility. The inbuilt rubber mount is easy to use and allows flexible locating of the unit onto the bike frame. The two downsides for this light are the mounting system if you don't have the space on your frame or wanted a light on your rucksack or a saddle bag. Also the unit can only be charged via USB which if you do not have a computer requires a seperate charger to be purchased. If you are looking for a super bright frame mounted USB charging light it would be hard to beat the Knog range.

Great performance...fiddly to charge!

PostedNovember 14, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
Cons: fiddly to charge
The build quality is great, fitting and removal takes 2 seconds, it looks great on the bike and the range of light modes will make sure you're noticed....
But! The USB charging stick is located behind the body of the light which means you might struggle to plug it in...particularly if you have a PC. I find that using my laptop is fine, but when using a PC it's fiddly to insert and the light that lets you know when it's charged is tucked away underneath!
Having said that I'd definitely recommend it, would certainly buy more Knog products in the future and would give it 5 stars if the USB charging was a bit less tricky.
