cool bike!

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
Cons: saddle hurts
Mountain biking was one of the first things my dad taught me and I love it. But then I grew up and got busy with college and work so I've been on hiatus for years. When my friend told me he was buying, I didn't hesitate to do the same. I found this and it's amazing. It looks cool and come on, it's GT! For the price, you get more than your money's worth. It's very sturdy and no problem riding it except for the saddle which hurt a bit but not a big issue for me. I can upgrade if I want to but so far I'm very satisfied with it!

Great Bike

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
Was fed up of getting inferior bikes from Argos and Halfords that I decided to go to Evans - who specialise in bikes. Wanted a bike that would not try and kill me (Argos) or be of cheap quality (Halfords).
I went on the website and found several bikes within my price range and went into the shop and asked which one they could recommend. They recommended this bike and I am completely happy with it.
I get a free service in 6 weeks - which is something neither Argos or Halfords offer

Great Entry-level Mountain Bike

PostedJune 20, 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
I bought a bike online for the daily commute to work, the first time I'd had a bike since I was a kid, so I did what most shoppers do online - i looked for the cheapest deal I could find. Needless to say it was a poor quality bike, arrived damaged, didn't perform well and was soon sent back to Amazon while I did more research and started looking for a decent buy. That lead me to the GT Aggressor 3, twice the price of the first bike and apparently a lesser specced one, but the improvement was noticeable the first time out.
Looks wise, the bike looks fantastic in the black and blue livery and even though I'd seen pictures of it before getting my hands on one I was surprised how good it looked in person. The pictures don't seem to do it justice and when I've tried to send pictures to friends I've found it is hard to get it at the right angle to really show it off. It's a pretty light bike and is pretty easy to carry up and down stairs without a problem. One of the big differences I found between it and the cheaper bike I bought originally is a massive reduction in weight. The gears and breaks have worked well, although as with all bikes regular checks and service after everything's settled from new is required to keep everything smooth.
I've now done 145 miles on it back and forth from work as well as 20+ mile recreational rides with friends and haven't had a single issue yet. I ordered it online and collected from the Birmingham branch and everything was set up well and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend collecting the bike rather than home delivery so it is all set up and ready for you if you're not experienced with bikes and setting them up as it is a free service and will save lots of niggly issues with the bike that can frustrate if it's not set up correctly from the off.
The only down-side I have experienced is not being able to lock the suspension for road use, but this will not really be a big issue.
Overall, I think this is a fantastic bike for getting into biking or mountain biking and far better value than the cheap deals found at non-bike specialist retailers.
