Great Commuting bike

PostedJuly 16, 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
I got this for my commute to work, first bike I have owned in many years. It is a hybrid, but leaning towards more of a mountain bike, with lockable suspension and break discs.
I have been using it commute to work for about 3 weeks now and have thoroughly enjoyed the ride. It handles the horrible pot holed roads of Glasgow very well and I haven't found a single thing to gripe about it.

Great bike

PostedJuly 3, 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Looks great
Cons: brakes aren't very good
I'm really impressed with this bike. Unlike other hybrids I've tried, this one can handle rutted, muddy and uneven ground without any problems. With a flick of a switch you can flit between fixing the suspension or not depending on where you are riding and the difference is really noticeable. I'd have no hesitation taking this off road as it really does take everything in its stride.
On the road, it feels just like a road bike, and fixing the suspension is literally just flicking the switch so your energy is put into going forward. It's looks the part too, it's a great looking bike. I thought in the picture it looked almost like a mountain bike but actually it's sleek, definitely not bulky looking even at 31lb. It's weight worried me a bit but this is really easy to handle and to be honest, you could easily find a lighter hybrid but for the price and the spec it's worth the extra pounds. It's also really comfortable to ride.
However, the disc brakes weren't as responsive as I thought and are certainly not sharp, you need to squeeze fairly hard to get a good response.
It's not fantastically fast but if you are looking for a true hybrid that can genuinely handle the terrain of rutted cycletracks and unmade roads then I can't imagine you would find much better. Especially when it's so comfortable and easy to ride on roads as well. Great bike. Fantastic online/over the phone customer service too.

Great Bike

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
Excellent value for money and a very decent bike. Lockable and adjustable suspension is ideal for those who ride on a variety of surfaces. Fairly quick on the road but safe in the knowledge that it can also handle off-road with no fuss. Highly recommended. Staff at Clapham very helpful too.
