Handy and useful

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality
Cons: Heavy
Bought this to replace my stolen saddle post, and was really glad I did. The pump gets my tyre up to pressure in less than 5 pumps, and with minimal effort on my part. The post is heavier than my previous one, and it makes carrying my Tern around more difficult, but the trade-off is worthwhile. You don't need a floor pump with this one!

Incredibly good idea, well executed

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Looks great, convenient, efficient
Cons: Heavy, Expensive
This seat post is amazing - if you've ever had to pump up a tyre to high pressure with one of those small hand pumps you will know it takes forever and is no fun at all. This seat post gets you most of the way to being as efficient as a full-sized track pump without breaking much of a sweat.
It's quite a bit heavier than the seat post that my bike came with (Dahon Speed Pro TT) but for me it's worth it for the convenience and efficiency.
There's no pressure-gauge so you're left to guess when to stop by when the tyre feels right but again this is not something that bothers me too much.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who plans to do longish rides where punctures may need to be repaired on the go; It may not be worth the extra weight and expense for short commutes where you maybe wouldn't bother fixing a puncture on the spot anyway.
