Good quality if a little expensive

PostedNovember 12, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
Cons: Expensive
This bike mount is a great piece of kit which does it's job well. If you are hanging your precious smartphone on your bike you want to make sure it stays there and this product delivers. The clear plastic front is great too, no obvious reduction in touchscreen performance, impressive. Slight negative, it is a bit expensive but as it does the job well I'm not complaining.

Problem solved

PostedJuly 24, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality
Cons: Expensive
My bike computer broke and I decided to use my phone's GPS as a replacement, however given the British "summer" this year a waterproof cover was essential. I'm happy to report that I've used this through heavy prolonged rain and this in combination with the Android insert (mine is for the Desire HD) the phone has remained perfectly dry.
At the same time GPS signals aren't impeded and the touch screen is responsive, though understandably less so, when I have my gloves on
The fit is tight on the handbars and I've never felt that the case was ever about to come away from the mount, although I am using this on bumpy London roads rather than trails.
Of course using GPS is not terribly accurate for showing current speed, and especially figuring out when I am stationary, but this isn't a fault of this case.
Perhaps the only downside is the potential expense of the case and the insert combined which are just essentially fancy bits of plastic, but I justified it as being less than a decent quality computer, and worth it to protect a sophisticated piece of electronics
