Solid full-sized folder

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Looks great
A great quality bike out of the box, I can't see that I'm going to need to replace any of the components with better ones any time soon as everything is working nicely - gear changes are smooth as is the ride and you wouldn't know the bike has a folding joint when you're riding - it feels as solid as a fixed-frame.
Both the fold latch and front wheel have safety mechanisms which means that even when loose they won't come apart on you which is great for safety but makes folding a bit fiddly so I haven't quite got the folding down to the advertised 30 seconds but I can't see why not with some practice. Also as the front wheel needs to be separated when folding you need two hands to carry the bike unless you have a bag or you do what I have done and get hold of a couple of extra velcro straps and attach the front wheel to the back. These can double up as bicycle clips while you're riding too so are a good idea.
Great bike and a great service from Evans. Everything went as smoothly as the bike rides!

Nice look. Very robust bike.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Looks great
Cons: Heavy
I really like this bike. It is very robust and looks nice. Tyres are heavy and uncomfortable on pavement. Pedals are also much below the bike level.
I mounted Schwalbe Furious Fred on front and rear, then changed pedals with MKS Esprit Ezy Superior. Results: almost 5lbs weight reduction; extraordinary smooth and fast riding.

Man-sized folding bike

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great, full sized folding bike
Faced with needing to take a bike on the train in rush hour, I needed to look into a good folding bike.
Being a keen cyclist, I wanted something that could fulfill my full sized bike needs.
looking at what the market had to offer, I was not convinced by a Brompton or suchlike.
This bike easily folds in half, and you can also easily remove the front wheel for maximum compactness.
This suits it for either commuting or for weekend breaks with a car.
Given that the Paratrooper is akin to an off-road mountain bike, I made a few changes with the help of the Evans mechanic.
I requested a 50/34t chainset and a set of skinny slick Gatorskins, and this transformed it into a very sturdy road/commuter bike. And very quick too. (Note, the existing 42t chainset is fairly useless for road, and there isn't much space for large rings on a 3 ringed setup).
This bike is sturdy, well built, fairly lightweight and turns heads.
A rare find, and one that I feel covers a niche. Rather than settling for a bike made out of scaffolding and tea-plate sized wheels.
Highly recommended.

I am very satisfied with this bike. but

Yes, I recommend this product.
I am very satisfied with this bike. Only the pedals are really cheap. They need replacement after 3months of cycling !! And the other think I wanted to ask is the weight. It says 29lbs . but is this true? I weighted the bike and it is over 38lbs.. is this natural? The 29lbs is only the frame??? is there a possibility that the bike I bought isnt the Original? At first I had a slight problem with one quick release. but we send e-mail to Montague and they told that it was a problem for all paratroopers of that time and they told us how to fix it. There is no problem now. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THE PEDALS!

This is a kick off bike! Simply Fantastic !!!

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
it is steady, comfortable and and works perfectly! It is a pleasure to ride it and easy to store it! It is lighter than I thought and shorter than a regular bike.
Looks great even with my type of "sporty" look :P
And as every ideal things it has a little imperfection.
First: when it is folding... still eats space and it is hard to put it into a steady, balanced position. Second: when a front wheel is putted back to forks it needs precision adjustment - otherwise disk breaks are getting noisy.
But it is The Bike of my dreams and love it!
Such a great design, so simple and so cool!
