Pinnacle Cobalt Two 2012 Women's Hybrid Bike

For riders who enjoy country lanes one weekend and forest tracks the next. The Cobalt's a wide-ranging women's bike that makes fewer compromises, a bike that's at home on mixed terrain and remains comfortable on longer rides. All models use a narrower handlebar, shorter stem and cranks and women's saddle to enhance comfort for female riders. Suntour suspension forks with lockouts for tarmac use and feature the widest possible gear ranges with a wide-ratio triple chainset up front and a mountain bike gear set at the back. It's an ideal bike for fitting a rack and mudguards for all-weather commuting, fitting child-seat or simply just having one of the most all-round bikes available.

Excellent bike for inexperienced cyclist

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Looks great, great gearing
This bike was bought to encourage me to exercise. Well it worked. I hadn't been on a bike for 25 years and I am now building up my confidence on a bike that has excellent gearing and feels 'right' when I ride. It is comfortable and good quality.

Any easy bike to ride both on the track and road

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
I bought one of these to go riding with my husband. Having not done any bike riding for a few years I was a bit apprehensive especially with 24 gears. However, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this bike. Firstly and importantly the seat. I instantly thought of pain but quite the opposite it was really comfortable and I was able to sit down the next day. I was measured up for the frame size by a helpful staff member which made a big difference to the ride; no over stretching or feeling cramped. I liked the suspension which made the ride smooth and never locked it out so no arm pains; I like comfort.I had to be shown how to use all the gears but with the finger levers it was really easy and now I use them rather than straining in one gear all the time. I did think the disc brakes were a bit of a gimmick but they certainly do stop you so I had to learn to squeeze the brake lever carefully. My husband has clip in pedals and I'm not sure about them so I just used the standard one that were fitted and they seemed to work well though I noticed my feet did slide off when the pedal was wet. May be I shall have to learn to use the clips. The bike worked well on all surfaces, track, muddy and road, I was surprised how fast it went on the road even with the fatter tyres on. I didn't mind the white colour but I would recommend the need for mudguards if you want to stay clean. The bike cleaned up well after being pretty muddy.
Overall I found this bike easy to manage and seems quite light for me at least. I got it in the sale and it was definately worth the money and now would have probably paid full price.

Good all-rounder

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value
I haven't had a bike for several years and am amazed how the technology has moved on! This bike is well equiped, all the other bikes I saw with this level spec were ~£100+ more.
A great all rounder for roads and bridlepath type cycling.
