Classy bell, designed for skinny handlebars.

PostedSeptember 13, 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great, nice noise, beautiful design
I was not able to fit this bell with the standard bolts provided, as my bike has quite wide handlebars, I bought online and took to my local store where I was helped. A pair of longer bolts were found and the bell fitted while I waited, quite a tricky little job and free of charge. Hats off to Evans. makes a lovely DING DING! Not too loud or too quiet, perfect to tell someone you are there without shouting at them... Worth the money

A bell designed to last

PostedMay 26, 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Looks great
Cons: brash is very bright
In australia, they sell you bells where the system to mount the bell is feeble and wears out quickly.
I thought I would go online and find a bell that doesnt need to be replaced every 6 months because the pathetic plastic mounting system has worn out again.
This bell has a sturdy attachment system with proper metal which is easily tightened with allen keys.
My only criticism is the brash is bright and clashes with the rest of my black bike. it would be great if they could make it in a less bright colour. It makes the bell the centre of attention of my bike.
If you are sick of replacing bells, then this will do the trick as its sturdy and has a decent mounting system.

Proper job

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Looks great
Looks a bit odd on a very modern looking tricked out folding bike, but makes a good noise and I could adjust where the pinger sits to allow for a good pull back (and hence good noise when released) and also to clear the folding parts of the bike.
Have adjusted the pinger a bit closer by swapping the washers, which makes it louder but does cause a low level ringing if the ground is very rough (i.e. a typical tarmacced cycle path that no-one has maintained since it was built)
