First class MTB front mudguards

PostedOctober 25, 2014
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Lightweight, Looks great
I'm only a recent convert to mountain biking since moving work location and having to bike in due to lack of parking. Until I got this mudguard set I only had a crud catcher and on really wet days got completely sprayed in the face by all the water off the road. Now that I've got the DeFender XC1 fitted all that is a thing of the past. Can't fault the design, style and practicality of this product. I just need to get the rear mudguard fitted now!

Broke on second use

No, I do not recommend this product.
Cons: Poor quality, flimsy
Ironically it could not take proper mud and broke the second time I used it. Will stick to crud catcher from now on.

Great design

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Looks great, does the job, great design
I bought a Boardman MTB Pro and afterwards found that no one could help me find a front mudgaurd to fit due to the larger front fork stem size. This has been a problem on cycle message boards with all who bought the bike. Evans though provided the solution with this great design. It works perfectly though you have to follow the minumum hight restriction to make sure the tyre does not foul. Its easy though.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
Rode from Birmingham to London along the Grand Union Canal, after our wonderful British summer, I decided I needed mudguards ! Always been happy with Topeaks equipment, first time i've used Evans, ordered it in the afternoon and it arrived in the morning, fitted that night and thoroughly tested over the following three days mudguard was flawless and worked a treat.
Will be using Evans again !
