A good idea but needs more thought.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: useful, it works
The bracket allows quick and secure fixing of a basket to a Topeak rear carrier with a quick release. I have used it with a Topeak basket but with a little thought it could be used with other 'difficult to carry' items.
The down side of using it with the basket is that it only runs half the length of the basket allowing the basket to flex and causing the bracket to wear. Hence my need to buy this replacement. (I attached part of the old bracket at the rear of the basket and the full length support is much better.)
The other problem I had was sourcing a bracket on its own and for a reasonable price. Another supplier wanted £25 when the basket and bracket together cost around £30. £10 from Evans was fairer price.

Good bracket - can be used to fix your own bag/box

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality
I bought this to enable me to fix a box to the rear rack (must be topeak MTX type). It is a good tight fit and is very solid when installed. The click and release system works exceptionally well, however if fitting to a box with straight sides the latch part of the fixer (with yellow catch) needs to be left hinged loose as the basket it is designed for clearly has tapering sides.
Only other thing to note is that the base is not very long (15cm) and so a big box will need some packers fitted beneath as this only reaches approx half way down the rack.
Comes with screws and little mounting plates to fix through basket/box too.
