Great, Simple Product!

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality
Super piece of kit, well made, super strong, and does everytihig expected of it.
The two downsides we have found so far is that (1) the Quick Release Lever when in the horizontal position, catches on the inside of the thighs, this is easily countered by closing the lever in a more downward position, this keeps the rack in place and alleviates the thigh rub (2) the rear of the pannier might be better served with a sloping guide to aid the attachment of the bag, it can be a bit fiddly when trying to fit a full bag and panniers.
If you are purchasing this for your MTX Topeak Bag with panniers you will also need to buy the pannier support brackets which are available separately.
Overall though, very pleased with the rack

Pros: Good quality, Looks great
I used this for the brompton and works like a charm. I use it to mainly carry a change of clothes and for the rainy season. I keep it low close to the quick release seat post clamp. It folds compact except for a slightly raised seat. Still able to put it on luggage rack in the train or beside the door without being in the way. I wish they had the carbon version. I had a few great comments regarding my setup.

This product has great rigid fixing features.
More important than that the EVANS service I got was fantastic I ordered this rack to be delivered at our first stop on the coast to coast ride at Alnmouth near Berwick upon Tweed and when we arrived on our bikes at the end of the day it was waiting. I think your company is great and so is Damian at Woking ( so Helpfull) THANKS

Good Strong And Sturdy.

Posted21 February 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Looks great
Cons: Heavy
This rack feels slightly heavy but it makes up for it in strength and usability. I mostly ride on road and public footpaths/bridleways. This even held the bag steady when I went through thick sloppy mud.
The reflector on the back can be taken off to put one of the supplied light brackets on. The light brackets seem to be designed only for Topeak lights as my Torch light doesn't fit. The A type is designed for a small bike as the it raises above the wheel. I should really have got the E type (the straight version) as I have a 17" frame as sliding off the back of the seat I go straight in to the bag but I couldn't be bothered with sending back and replacing.
