Good but some bad points

Posted09 December 2014
No, I do not recommend this product.
Pros: Looks great
Cons: Poor quality
It seems strong enough but the cover is plastic so could easily be stripped off to get access to the screws. The instructions recommend a hole size of 7 mm [ cannot remember exactly ] however with this size the plastic plugs would not fit and using a hammer would have destroyed them, had to go up a size

Strong we'll made product

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality
Nothing is absolutely secure but once fixed to the wall with the ball bearings hammered into the screw heads it is a good deterrent. Anyone would have difficulty cutting or sawing it. The eyelet is small but will easily take a good size padlock. You do need to be someone who is fairly good at DIY if it's into brick, which is probably the best option.

not big enough to get a lock through

No, I do not recommend this product.
the diameter of the opening is way too small. so not much use as a wall anchor if you have a thick cable or a d lock as most of use have. not fit for purpose!

Very secure, very need.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality
Stuck this on my wall in no time and the eye is big enough for a medium sized D-lock. All screws are securely hidden away. Excellent product. I bought this despite the first negative comment and am pleased I ignored it.

Too small to attach any kind of lock to it

No, I do not recommend this product.
Small, cheap, pointless. Don't buy this. Go for a bigger anchor that you can actually attach something too.
