Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Looks great
I have used these shorts on couple of times and I can say that these are just what I needed for little chilly spring weather.. Nothing to complain. Standard Gore quality.

brilliant 3 season 3/4 shorts!

PostedMay 28, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable
Cons: lack of colours
The fit on these shorts is great. As i'm 6ft and skinny most 3/4ers ride up to the knee, however these grip brilliantly, and have been washed several times since, with no loss in elasticity. The pad is also very comfortable , i've been on on several 50mile+ road rides on it without any hotspots or aches. They were also very good value, considering you can buy shorts for over double the price of these
The only complaint is that i'd had prefered more colour choices as only the black ones were avaliable.

Well made, but others are better

PostedMay 9, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive, Uncomfortable, poor pad for longer rides
I tend to buy most of my equipment from either personal recommendation or magazine reviews, as was the case with the Gore Power 2 tights where they got the top award.
When they arrived, I was pleased to see they were well made, although once on (a good fit) some of the stitching was scratchy. My biggest disappointment was in the pad, which the blurb says is designed for longer rides.
I bought these tights specifically for a charity ride around the coast of Cornwall, thinking that they would be a good exchange for my Sugois when they became a little pongy! We did a total of 288 miles and climbed over 28,000 feet, so any tights that survive this must be good. Sadly, I was sore with the Gores after just a day in the saddle, and had to revert back to my faithfull Sugois, pong and all! Maybe the £30 difference was really worth it, although the price of the Gore tights is hardly cheap.
I suppose the only real way to find out what works is to try it first,
but I cannot imagine any manufacturer or retailer for that matter allowing a rider to try out tights!
