Great intermediate sized bag but why no bladder?

PostedJanuary 6, 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
Cons: Expensive, bladder not included
Very comfortable bag ideal for those who like riding down with pads but prefer to carry them up the hill.
Usable storage capacity is OK for a half day ride but you will find yourself reaching for a bigger pack for whole day adventures. The Tool pouch is a nice feature but is best used for everything apart from your multi-tool as it is slow to access and is more suited to tyre levers, gear cable, cable ties, patches, chain links, spare pads, etc. The two other compartments are OK. The Main one has enough room for a basic first aid kit and survival blanket in the bottom with a shock pump and a couple of layers of clothing on top. The second compartment is where my multi-tool and a some energy gels/muesli bars live. I store my keys in one of the little zip pouches on the straps and have my mobile phone on my person. Not really enough room for any provisions for lunch or enough space for clothing for a full day's riding, enough room to tuck a compact camera or similar in. The pads tuck in down the sides and are held securely by straps.
Holds either a vented or full face helmet externally which is great for keeping your gear together in the car or during hike-a-bike treks up Munros.
In summary, good quality, well-made, comfortable pack but a bit on the expensive side due to omitting the hydration bladder. 8 out of 10
Ordered in store, arrived a few days later for collection. Nice and easy, no need to miss a Royal Mail delivery, wait at least 24 hours then visit the depot. Well done Evans.

A comfortable pack at last !

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
This is a great multi functional pack I use it mainly for commuting and I carry everything in it lunch, change of clothes, paperwork etc, the tool storage in the bottom of the bag is a great idea, you can get a small pump patches tools spare tubes in there no problem the front has a helmet carrier but it can be used for anything really, it has a small front pocket for keys phone etc and 2 hip pockets for odds and ends also a small pocket on the shoulder strap and a zip pocket on the other strap
it fits an mp3 but its too small for an iphone, it has a separate bladder
section inside this is zipped up and a bungee cord to keep the bladder from moving. the inside main compartment isnt massive but if packed right you can get plenty in. this pack is excellent for a day our mountain biking as the pack does not move around on your back and compression straps keep the packs contents from moving around also it is very comfortable to wear you forget its there. only down side theres no rain cover so i took the one from my old deuter and it fits a treat and stows away underneath where the bike tools are. also a big thankyou to evans for providing a first class service.

This is a serious piece of kit.the materials used and design of the zealot offer every possible requirement a rider might find they need! I thought so highly of this bag I got the smaller 14 litre small option for my girlfriend.
