Awesome single speed bike...

PostedMay 28, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Looks great
This is my first single speed, been thinking (for far too long) about this one and just had to go and buy it ! Superb bike for riding around town either as a fixie or freewheel. I use a road bike at the weekends and the Maurice is for riding to work. Other people have commented on its great looks and the awesome blue paint looks really cool. The brakes are very effective and the paintwork is pretty much perfect. Maybe slightly heavier than some, but you dont notice it when you're on the move.
If you are in doubt - just go and buy one, you'll love it.

At first glance - great

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Lightweight, Looks great, solid
This is only after having the bike for two weeks, so I cannot comment on the long term quality of the bike (i.e. how long it will last).
It is very light, seems solid and rides very well! Nice riding position, nice saddle (hard, but well made).
The gearing ratio between front and rear cogs is not huge, so top speed is limited. However, on rides with hills, this lower top speed will probably average out with up hill speed, meaning overall times will be unaffected.
So far, very happy!

Great bike
Posted April 10, 2013
I've had one for about 4 years (it's the orange one rather than this blue one) but nothing has gone wrong with it since I've and it, it's got great acceleration (top speed is a bit lacking, but you never really build up much speed commuting anyways).
Solid first fixie. I'd buy it again.
