First trainer and it is great!

Posted12 April 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality
My first turbo trainer and for the price this is excellent. Remote control, magnetic resistance, simple to assemble, solid as a rock too. Great value as you get a plastic riser block for the front wheel, DVD with a route to follow and a Movistar water bottle!
Not noisy, just a quiet hum so can use it in the living without bothering the wife!

Ovarall good product

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality
Cons: plastic locking mechanism very flimsy
Can be a harder workout than road riding as there is no chance of freewheeling and that is a good thing. The benefits will show in an overall upping of cadence and average speed. I have used it every time I am unable to get out and definitely feel the difference.I feel it's a realy good buy and noise levels are not that bad. I would recommend using a jubilee clip to llock the bike mounting mechanism as the the plastic lock ring is useless but this is just a small niggle.

Good Trainer

Posted28 November 2011
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality
This is my first ever trainer so I wasn't too sure what to expect but having set it up and used it a few times, I have to say that I love it.
The set includes the trainer, a block for the front wheel, a sweat catcher and a water bottle, all of which are vital!
When I saw the sweat catcher, I thought it was just a nice touch but after getting to grips with the trainer I soon realised why it was included.
In terms of the trainer itself, it was relatively east to setup as per the instructions included. Once up and running, I found it to be a good workout. The adjustable resistance levels (5) are good, allowing a variety of training styles and the noise is fairly low given what I had read about other trainers.
Overall, I'd recommend this product to others. Worth noting that you still need to buy a separate training tyre to go on your back wheel. I initially hadn't realised this so worth mentioning. They start at around £20.
Enjoy!

Elite Mag Speed Trainer - Great

Posted01 October 2011
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
Bought this item because I don't have room for an exercise bike and road bike. I have a 16" frame hybrid bike with 26" wheels. Works great without issues. Evans Cycles service was great also.
