No instructions and quite tricky to fit!

Yes, I recommend this product.
Cons: overly complex
I have to recommend the product because there is no alternative. That said, the lack of instructions for what should be a simple process is not helpful at all.

Click-fits very easily to chainring,

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Lightweight, Good value, Good quality
The Brompton chainring guard is a very tough guard which can be easily and quickly mounted on the chainring. It offers good protection from oil and grease on the chain and can also be eaily removed and re-mounted when it is necessary to clean the chainring. A+++

Interesting Challenge

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value
The chainring guard arrived without instructions.
Obvious how it fitted onto the chainring - not obvious how to secure it with the attached lugs.
Laid Brompton down on bench - supported chainring from beneath, twisted lugs off with pliers, then tapped them into place with rubber hammer - Q.E.D.
Subsequently saw Brompton instructions which say you have to dismantle pedals etc before fitting - not so, quite easy to fit without dismantling anything, providing you adequately support chainring from beneath .....
