very simple but effective piece of equipment

PostedSeptember 24, 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight
The aerobar is a very useful piece to make your roadbike into a more effective timetrial machine.
The possibility to have both a large diameter handle bar or a small one is very useful (unless you forget the spare parts..) although the additional parts are a bit fiddly to fit.
They are easy adjustable in position (pads height and level)

Fantastic light and comfortable TT bars

PostedAugust 13, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
As the review summary suggests.... these appear to be the lightest TT bars i could find for £90. They are lighter than a lot of the carbon bars too so seems a no brainer. They are very easy to fit and mind didn't require any adjustments. Very comfortable to ride using. The pads provide ample cushioning and have removable fabric covers should you wish to wash them from time to time. Highly recommended.

The fastest tribars available

PostedDecember 13, 2011
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
Look carefully before you buy: so many aerobars fit over the handlebars and lift you much higher than necessary.
The Profile ZBS mounts in-line with the handlebars, and has very low profile armrests. (Especially if you get rid of the padding). Very nice, and very fast!

Profile ZBS S-Bend aerobar review

PostedAugust 25, 2011
Yes, I recommend this product.
The Bars arrived quickly and in good condition. I have a Boardman 2010 road bike (black) and they look good on the bike.
S-bend have taken a little getting used to..I wonder whether I should have bought J bend. But I think these look better and the slight discomfort in the wrists on a 30 mile ride is very minor and overall I am pleased with the purchase.
Pretty straight forward to fit and seem secure.
One of the benfits (I think - I'm no expert) is that the pads are right on the handlebar and the bars effectively stick out from the handlebar. This possibly means you can get a lower position (than those where the aerobar goes above the handlebar) and they look neater. The down side is that you can't adjust their length. Therefore, compared to most other models available, the size you pick is probably important.
I saw a review that suggested they come up small and recommended the larger size. I also went on the Profile website which recommended the small size for my size of bike. I went with the small. I don't regret it - once I adjusted the pads slightly closer to the saddle I think they are fine and I'm comfortable. I am 5' 9'' and have a 53cm bike. I figured the small ones are probably slightly lighter as well. That said, were I to buy them again I would certainly consider getting the mediums - they are only 2cm longer but it would give a bit more flexibility in body position.
Have they made me faster? Yes, I think so. My training hasn't been that consistent, but I would estimate a 1 to 2 mph. Also, more comfortable ride - less on the arms and shoulders.

Instant Extra Speed

PostedJune 9, 2011
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
Bought these bars about a month ago. Very impressed from the start.
Bars are pleasantly light, easy to fit and offered a good range of elbow pad position adjustment.
The elbow pads can be set nice and low, just above the tops of the bar. This is important as it allows a genuinely aero position not possible with many clip on bars which leave the rider too high and in the wind.
I bought the medium size which are a bit shorter than I was expecting. This means short length should be good for even the shortest rider but any one over 5'8" or with longish arms should probably buy size large.
Only negative would be that due to the low elbow pads the "tops" of the bars can no longer be used, but should not really be an issue if you are going for speed!
Thick gel elbow pad makes these bars extra comfy.
Already recommended these to a couple of friends who bought different bend shapes and are also happy.
