Great pack

PostedApril 29, 2011
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Comfortable, Looks great
This is a great pack. My previous Camelbak was the original extremely basic pack and this just so much better. The design keeps the water nicely distributed on your back rather than just all at the bottom of the pack. There is loads of storage space, I tend to carry loads of gear for every eventuality so this is great. The straps keep it nice and secure without restricting movement so it is unobtrusive when you get into the more technical trails. Despite it's capacity it isn't a bulky pack, and it has straps either side which can be used to keep the pack tight when not packed to capacity.
It's not exactly cheap but I think it's good value. It appears to be very well made.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Comfortable, Looks great
this is a good size bag very light when on. great on the bike or when out running, theres plenty of pockets to put all your stuff.
the antidote bladder is a very good size and shape theres a even a hanger in the bladder pocket for it to hang to even out the weight when full.

Great size and pockets, poor zipper, design

PostedNovember 7, 2011
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Lightweight, Looks great, good number of pockets
Cons: Expensive, Uncomfortable, zippers break
Researched this for an age before buying and was sold by all the great reviews.
I was unfortunately disappointed in the end by a couple of points - first off the main zipper broke on one of my first uses and as this is a string design rather than hard zipper, there was no way to fix this (I have since had the bag replaced by Evans free of charge, thank you Evans).
Secondly I am not impressed with the new design from Camelbak of the bladder tube exit point from the middle of the bag in between your shoulders - i found this to often be uncomfortable whilst wearing as the tube rubbed my neck. The old design where the tube exited over one of the shoulders was much more comfortable and did not rub.
However, the good points are that this is a great size for day-use and the many pockets come in very useful, especially the side pockets for quick access. This was comfortable to wear when the bladder was not in use!

Great camel pack

PostedNovember 6, 2011
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Lightweight, very strong
Cons: Expensive
This pack is great but expensive but on the plus side this pack can take a pounding. i recently had a tumble on concrete and the only thing that didn't get a hole in ti is the camel pack.
filling and cleaning the bladder is easy and it is very comfortable on long rides. my only gripe is when the bladder is full it's hard to fit anything in the storage part of the bag but at least you'll be hydrated.

Great day-pack

PostedJuly 11, 2011
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Comfortable, Looks great
Cons: Expensive
I bought this pack specifically for my ride along the SDW over two days. It has just about enough room for food, waterproof, tools and basic change of clothes for the evening.
The pack is heavy when you fill the 3 litre hydration pouch, but you soon become used to the weight. My ride was relatively warm (25C) and the new foam pods on the back did a fantastic job of keeping my back dry while still being comfortable.
It has lots of pockets for stowing specific and small items so you don't lose them in the main compartment.
Decent price too with Evans' price match

Excellent bit of kit!

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Comfortable, Looks great
Cons: Expensive
I have had this for few weeks now and found it perfect use for a day pack, weather cycling or out trekking. Stays securely buckled up and doesn't loosen up when off roading.
