DVD : Life Cycles

Gibb and Frankowski first began discussing the project in 2004 and started shooting in the spring of 2007. Since then, they have amassed more than 1,000 gigabytes of raw footage-and they still have more than half of the film left to shoot. Life Cycles will feature Darren Berrecloth, Mike Hopkins, Matt Hunter, Cam McCaul, Brandon Semenuk, Thomas Vanderham and several other top riders. In addition to Canada, the film was also shot in Iceland, Japan and the United States.

Arty bilge

No, I do not recommend this product.
Don't get me wrong, I like a well shot film and the photography is stunning, but it's confused I think. If it was an in-depth documentary about how a high end bike is developed and made, I'd be fascinated and a film full of good riding and locations is always a winner, but this is a strangely depressing mish-mash of a film which leaves me cold.

Stunning

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Looks great
Cons: needs more riding
You've probably heard the hype so you should know what your getting. The footage from the red cam is amazing and the shots they have within the film are beyond any other bike film. Don't buy this film wanting to see loads of fast paced riding and the biggest tricks from the all the worlds best riders cos you ain't gonna get it. Infact, it hasn't got much riding at all, probably because when filming to this high standard, every last shot has to be planned down to the finest detail. What you do get is a beautifully made independent film about the bike itself, what you can do on it, and where our bikes take us. I would say its a must for any mtber with a love of film, but if you want the latest riding and your typical section by section mtb film, then by Follow me.
