Does the job

PostedJune 14, 2014
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality
Cons: Unattractive
Solid, reliable and does exactly what I wanted it to do. Your standard shimano offering. Must admit that it doesn't have as much of a satisfying click as other hubs but as a solid commuter/touring wheel I can't argue with the performance.

Quality product built into 8 speed touring wheel

PostedMay 27, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Looks great
Have used these hubs now for years because they perform so well. I hand-built it into a touring wheel and expect a good 5 years / 10K miles plus of service based on past experince. Note: you can easily "spring" a 126 mm 30 year old Reynolds 531 frameset to accommodate this 130 mm product and so upgrade to a wide range 8 speed 32/34 cassette.
