An excellent choice for varied terrain

PostedMay 9, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, good traction, durable
Cons: lots of mould injection knibs
I recently spent a considerable amount of time looking for a CX tyre which offers the best combination of features for my riding needs; typically a combination of tarmac roads, sharp gravel pathways, forest tracks, and the occasion patch of grass. Although my previous tyre won on looks I much prefer the Cross XG Pro for the following practical reasons; the traditional CX tread pattern has considerably more material in the middle of the tyre which means that I get many more miles before the rear starts to go bald, the added puncture protection seems to work very well, they're relatively lightweight, and they have the capacity to be run at relatively high pressures when you don't mind trading a certain amount of traction for speed. I can safely say that the XG Pro has delivered what I was looking for and I highly recommend them; they roll fast and quietly, the rear is holding on to its tread pattern very well, and I've even been sorely tempted to leave the puncture repair kit at home ...although that may be pushing my luck just a little too far!

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
Bought these to replace the Schwalbe tyres that were getting punctures every other day nearly. The Vittoria tyres are a big improvement have not had a puncture in the 5 weeks been commuting to work via shared paths some full off glass. Excellent purchase at a great price in the sale.

amazing grip

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
I did replace a set of Hutchinson Toro (great tires too) on one of my bikes with this tires. The rolling resistance is about the same, but the grip on gravel and sand is a lot better.

Long lasting and grips well in the dirt

PostedMay 23, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Looks great
I use the tyre for short distance commuting each day and for cyclocross races each month. The tyre seems to last for a year or so, & I have not had any punctures. The tyre seems to grip well on dirt and sandy surfaces. Not sure about mud, as it hasn't rained much here...

Perfect on and off roader!

PostedMay 19, 2010
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great, Good quality
Incredibly smooth rolling tyres that offer a perfect blend of speed and grip. If you cycle on roads but like to hit dirt tracks on weekends, these are the perfect tyres for you! And for those of you who have rigid forks with no carbon, these tyres actually make the ride more comfortable. They're also very assured around corners, allowing you to attack at greater speeds. All in all, a highly versatile yet very quick tyre.
