Pros: Good value, Good quality, Looks great, big rear basket
This basket is excellent for carrying lots of shopping.
Well made and having had one before I know they last for years.
I searched everywhere for this model of basket and only Evans Cycles stocked it.

Useful for dogs up to about 12kg

PostedAugust 9, 2010
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: very useful, fast attachment
Cons: tiny bit wobbly unless tied on
I borrowed one of these from a friend before buying my own. Hers used the older fixing system: slightly more solid, but also slower to set up, and didn't fit my rack as well. This new clamp system is a little wobbly front-to-back (wouldn't come off, just not as solid as the old one, which had a wider base of attachment) unless you tie the front of the basket to your rack. This takes about 30 seconds, so no big deal.
I use the basket to carry a fox terrier, who weighs about 9kg. She fits it fine; a larger dog would fit physically, but I think would be pushing the attachment points to their limits.
My dog's getting older, and can't walk a long way any more, and this basket has been a really good way to get out and about with her. All in all, it's been well worth the money.
