Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
Excellent TT helmet. It is very comfortable, good value and looks great. For anyone looking for a high quality tear drop helmet at a reasonable price then go for this.

Good value for money

PostedJune 22, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Comfortable
Cons: ventilation
The Advantage felf warmer on the head than a normal road helmet, but so far I have only used it in the UK , so can not comment on overheating issues. Rode a race couse faster than before; whether that was due to the helmet or not, hard to say. Good value for money for an aerohelmet, so far no complaints. Slightly worried about wearing it in hot conditions.

Comfortable, ventilated and aero

PostedMarch 29, 2010
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great, aero
Finally making the move from a conventional helmet to an aero model for TTs and triathlons, I compared several brands before opting for the Giro Advantage, and I have not been disappointed with its performance.
The fit is snug, as you might expect, but comfortable, once you get the hang of folding your ears inside, and the straps are easy to adjust both around the cradle and under the chin.
Ventilation definitely seems adequate, though I have yet to race in hot conditions, and over the distances I race, of up to 25 miles, I don't expect to encounter any real problems with overheating.
Finally, the acid test, and the underlying reason that anybody buys an aero helmet - does it make you faster?
The answer, of course, is yes. I can't tell you how many seconds to put down to the aerodynamics and how many to feeling more confident, but this has to be about the cheapest way, in terms of £ per second, to improve your times.
