Sunrace Index 7 Speed Freewheel 13 - 25t

Posted30 January 2015
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Lightweight, Looks great
Well made and an answer to closer ratios, with the medium and large chain rings there is a considerable overlap, this gives a bigger spread over standard and gives a higher gear as well

Great for commuting

Posted10 September 2014
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
This is great for commuting as lower off-road gears are not needed or used. Really smooth as I replaced the chain at the same time.

The freewheel was easy to fit and is good quality

Posted17 February 2013
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight
Cons: Unattractive
The freewheel is a good product for my folding bike. I am going to buy another for another one of my bikes. The ratios are well spaced and the 13 tooth sprocket is a good top ratio.

Perfect replacement

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value
Bought this to replace the existing freewheel on my sons road bike. It, gives a good range of gears for a road bike without getting into MTB territory

Converted from 6-speed to 7-speed

Posted29 July 2011
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value
I have found it very difficult to find reasonable 6-speed freewheels for my retro bike. The easiest way seemed to be converting it to 7-speed because the 7-speed freewheel is only slightly wider and fits easily in most cases without any additions. My friction rear derailleur can´t count the number of sprockets so it works fine anyway. Of course if you have an indexed 6-speed then this can´t be done.
The product itself is what I expected it it to be. Not too expensive, but works without any complaints. Worth every cent.
