good backup

Posted10 August 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality
Brought this to backup my Diablo M3. Doubles ride time on Medium brightness to 5+ hours. Also find it handy as another mounting position (Helmet) for the rear red eye.

Valuable addition for extended night rides

Posted14 November 2010
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
Nice, lightweight addition for extra run times at night. I pair this up with a Joystick on the helmet and the combination is light and provides about 6 hours at full brightness. Handy to carry as a backup too if you've forgotten to charge your light.

Exposure Piggy-back Cell - Ronseal

Posted16 April 2010
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Lightweight, Good quality
Ronseal - does what it says on the tin! Small and robust. Mount isn't fantastically complex (just a velcro strap) but seems to do the job if you make sure it's tight. Allows lots of flexibility with Exposure light set up: extra power for helmet light or handlebar light. Back-up power. Power for rear light when using remote switch on main light.

Useful piggy

Posted24 February 2010
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Lightweight, Good quality
Cons: Expensive
I use this to power an Exposure RedEye rear light. The benefit is that it avoids the need for cables running along the frame but it also allows you to bypass the fiddly smart port on the front light. The smart port is then left fee to power up a remote switch.
The piggyback battery sits in my saddle bag and simply clips in and out of the light lead. It is very simple setup. The battery life between recharges seems to be about 4-6 hours which is acceptable. Recharging is best down over night.
Overall - a useful and small device to free up a smart port.
