Reliable and secure pedals

Posted22 October 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Looks great
I'd been riding vanilla shimano SPD's for years, but had also read countless reviews raving about these for fixed gear commuting. Finally I took the plunge and swapped over.
Initially I was concerned about if I'd be able to clip in and out easily, but after a couple of minutes on the bike I realised that these were actually easier than my SPD's on both accounts, while still feeling very securely clipped in (I haven't unclipped accidentally yet).
Final point is that I'd installed the cleats on the 'easier' angle rather than the 'competition' position. You change this by swapping the cleats around on your shoes. Also a set of cleats come with the pedals.

Changed my cycling life

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great
An impulse buy originally (yes, I know, an odd impulse but the therapy's working thanks for asking) but I'm now replacing all my pedals with Atacs. They work for me. Reliable. Comfy. Don't clog up. Low maintenance therefore reliable. A big enough platform to support feet. Light enough for me.
Bronze cleats a bit pricy but I forgive them.

Longer lasting than the AROC

Posted24 February 2010
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Looks great
Cons: Heavy
I have ridden with Time pedals for some years and they are great if you have dodgy knees. They dont get clogged up with mud and ice easily either. The Atac S (chrome steel axle) are a better bet over the AROC which doesnt have the metal 'kicker' plate meaning the composite body lasts longer without your shoe wobbling. Lighter than the Alium too but probably not as long lasting.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight
These pedals offer the best mud clearence i've come across whilst racing cyclo cross or riding off road.
Great value for money and very easy to clip in and out off.
