Techy heaven

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
You don't need to be an engineer to be struck by the quality and workmanship of this stem - it's gorgeous! I wanted a good quality, lightweight cross-country stem that was also strong enough to cope with the occasional big hit - I got it. I bought the 120mm 10 degree to replace my Canondale C3 90mm 5 degree - The Thomson is even lighter. The stem is chunky, like it means business, yet extremely light and looks brilliant. Very strong - as it's machined from a single block of ali, so no welds to fail. This stem is very rigid and makes my steering feel very solid, dependable and responsive - what more could you ask? Very happy.

Thomson X4 stem

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Looks great
Cons: Heavy
Very good quality product. No flex as far as i can tell.A pleasure to set up.All parts superbly finished and built to a fine standard. It basically sits there and quietly does its job which is all i can ask of it really! The only weak point is it carrys a little more weight than the competition. Not that i notice it (on a 21.5lb rigid bike!).But i would rather have the extra security knowing it won't break on me down that steep descent! Excellent product! Reccommened!

All things light and beautiful

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
Cons: Expensive
I've been riding for about 15 years now and have been through many stems in my time. The Elite X4 is a great example of precision engineering, providing not only great strength but also fantastic weight loss. Beautifully crafted it'll set your pride and joy of nicely. Expensive I grant you, but well worth the extra few quid in my opinion. Highly recommended.
