Pros: Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great, cheap, solves a problem
Neat gadget for placing a rear light in an obvious place.
I use this device to link my Carradice bagman to my PDW Dangerzone. Usually, the light would be hidden on the seat post behind the saddle bag, obscured and not very visible. By using this device, I can "hang" the light off the Bagman support, making it very visible.
I can get a really firm positioning with this device without the light drooping or moving with usual road vibrations. If you're using a saddle bag support or rack, commuting in poor weather or the dark, then yep, I'd recommend one of these and a good rear light.
This bracket is probably just the ticket if you have a rack that it fits. Unfortunately, it has an opening of 8mm and my rack has a thickness of 10mm so the two will never meet. It would have been nice if this information had been provided somewhere, but this buy turned out to be a waste of money for me. Nevertheless, the bracket is extremely light and strong, so if you have anything thin enough to attach it to it would probably be a good buy.
