Does the job

PostedMarch 1, 2012
Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality
Cons: Heavy, Unattractive, Uncomfortable
Product does the job well. What is more to say. It stops water and mud from getting onto my precious bottom bracket. At least most of the water and mud.
One issue though. I clipped it just like that without any special screws. So it was holding OK. Sometimes I had to fix it back to its position, but once I was riding in the dark and somehow I hit the fron fender with my foot and here we go, I lost my mud flap. Now I am buying new one, because it is good if you don't mess with it..

Expensive but OK

PostedDecember 11, 2010
Yes, I recommend this product.
Cons: Heavy, Expensive
I bought it to replace the mudflap that was torn off from my set of SKS chromoplastic mudgaurds. It seems to fit very securely there even without bolts.
Overall though, I would recommend this only for those people who do not have the time to botch their own mudflap from an old mousemat and some bolts.

Mudflap

PostedNovember 25, 2010
No, I do not recommend this product.
Pros: none
Cons: Heavy, Expensive, doesnt stay put
A heavy and expensive bit of rubber. No instructions but if you trusted it as a clip-on, it wouldn't travel a couple of feet without falling off. It could be riveted on if mudguards are sturdy metal, but on light plastic like mine it simply does not work.
