Doesn't fit Specialized Roubaix 2008

Posted08 October 2012
No, I do not recommend this product.
Cons: wrong fit
Because of the oversized handlebar adapter on the Roubaix this 1 piece Aero bar didn't fit not because of the diameter but because the width of adapter meant that it wouldn't fit together properly. I chose to go with the Profile Legacy Aerobar instead which has separate bars so you can adjust the widths and therefore more flexible.

No, I do not recommend this product.
Cons: Expensive, Uncomfortable, rattles when not in use
Dissappointed in my purchase as for me it was uncomfotable and have since removed it from my bike. I feel that the elbow rests were too clse together. Also when not used the hinge elbow supports rattled annoyingly

Every bike should have one

Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Comfortable, Good value, easily adjustable, variety of hand positions, less wind resistance = more speed., you look awesome
Cons: rattle, you look like posing twit
First tri/aero bars i've used so can't really compare to others but... they're great fun to use, give a very noticeable wind reduction and also (i think) provide a more comfortable and natural cycling position than drops. Also Easily adjustable, armrests spring up nicely and there are several different hand positions to provide variation.
Only con (other than a little extra weight) is there a bit of rattle on bumpy roads from front cable and armrests.
